Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans for oil and gas extraction
  • Use and maintain drilling and fracturing equipment
  • Supervise drillings and extractions
  • Research new ways and new sites for oil and gas extraction
  • Analyze formation of rocks and reservoirs
  • Use computer-aided models to enable drilling
  • Determine budget and requirements of projects
  • Supervise and train technical staff
  • Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to determine geological features.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
  • Having worked with a multinational or an independent or an oil and gas servicing
  • Hands-on experience with drilling equipment
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Managerial experience
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • COREN Certification is a MUST.

Drilling Engineer at Halogen Group

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing staff on rigs.
  • Working to strict schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervising drilling and solving technical problems.
  • Enforcing safety and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Measuring operations against budgets.
  • Analysing daily data on productivity.
  • Costing and scheduling drilling operations.
  • Establishing and administering drilling and service contracts;
  • Preparing well data sheets.
  • Designing and selecting well-head equipment.
  • Designing directional well paths (horizontally or multi-laterally, as appropriate);
  • Contributing to conceptual field development design.
  • Working with multidisciplinary professionals to evaluate the commercial viability of the well and monitor progress during drilling.
  • Coordinating and supervising the work of the drilling team.
  • Undertaking engineering design and the planning of wells (including development work).
  • Obtaining relevant data, carrying out engineering analysis on site and recommending necessary actions and writing up reports.
  • Monitoring the daily progress of well operations.
  • Managing operations on behalf of small clients.
  • Drawing up drilling programmes, taking account of desired production flow rates.
  • Adhering to environmental protection standards, in some cases through direct.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • At least seven (7) years of drilling experience.
  • Strong math, analytical and communication skills.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Multinational Experience is a Must.

Handyman at Halogen Group

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
  • Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders
  • Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
  • Assist in the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on facilities , equipment and installation, stated by team lead, to ensure proper and good working condition.
  • Assist in installation work on various client sites
  • Support in moving furniture and equipment in and out of the store room
  • Ensure that all allocated equipment, furniture and materials are stored safely and securely in order to prevent unauthorized access and potential accidents/misuse.
  • Ensure that all refuse is disposed of promptly and stored away from the main building.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND qualification
  • Experience in store keeping and management is an added advantage
  • Have basic knowledge of fixing things
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.

Store Supervisor at Halogen Group

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Purpose of Role

  • This role is responsible for the performance of the sales team, the achievement of sales target and the feel and look of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Approach customers as they enter the showroom, inquire about the type of furniture/product they want.
  • Develop new sales strategies/techniques to attract new customers to the showroom.
  • Supervise the sales process, politely respond to questions and inquires raised by customers, and close every sale with potential customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized appearance of the showroom.
  • Build and maintain rapport with key clients; Hospitality, Corporate bodies and Individuals, identifying new opportunities
  • Conduct outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers via telephone and e-mail to sell products and services.
  • Develop and maintain relevant internal liaisons, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, warranties, or other information pertaining to purchased products
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of exhibitions and conferences, as a deliberate sales/marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicable labor laws, and retail health and safety standards.
