Mr Benjamin stated that once everything has been thoroughly checked, the results of candidates who sat for their papers since the examination began on Tuesday will be made available. JAMB Official Praises 2023 UTME Conduct
Fabian Benjamin, the Head of the Public Affairs and Protocol Unit of JAMB, has praised the conduct of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), calling it one of the best conducted in recent times. He made this statement despite the hitches recorded on the first day of the examination, which led to the rescheduling of the test for some candidates in affected centres.
According to Mr Benjamin, out of the 947,000 candidates who had taken the test since Tuesday, only 6% experienced hitches, which were observed across about 100 computer-based test centres. He added that JAMB has rescheduled the tests for the affected candidates, and all candidates who registered for the exams would be given the opportunity to take the tests.
While Mr Benjamin cannot promise that technical hitches will not be experienced, he assured candidates that JAMB is committed to ensuring that all candidates will be given equal opportunities to take the examination.
