MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship Grant 2022/2023

The MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship Grant 2022 is now ongoing. As part of its values to promote academic excellence, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc. seeks to assist its employees and shareholders in achieving the highest levels of educational excellence for their children by granting their academically outstanding children scholarships.

The MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship Grant is awarded to Senior Secondary School 1 – 3 Students who attend government-owned or accredited private secondary schools in Nigeria and undergraduates who have been offered admission into government-owned or accredited private Tertiary Nigerian institutions e.g. University, Polytechnic, or Monotechnic, for the duration of their course.

MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship Eligibility Criteria.

For Employees.

FOR EMPLOYEES: Secondary School Applicants.

1. The scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE), and have a minimum of five (5) distinctions i.e. A, which is equivalent to an excellent grading system in the relevant subjects (including Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting
2. Applicant must have the JSCE results available during the application period
3. Applicant should not be more than 18 years at the time of application
4. Applicant must be a Nigerian
5. Applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period
6. Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship

FOR EMPLOYEES: Undergraduate Applicants.

1. The scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (NECO or GCE). The applicant must have a minimum of five (5) distinctions i.e. A, which is equivalent to an excellent grading system in the five subjects relevant to the course of study in the higher institution of choice (including Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting
2. Applicant must have been offered admission into an approved tertiary institution (University/Polytechnic/Monotechnic) in Nigeria
3. Applicants should not be more than 25 years old at the time of applying
4. Applicant must be a Nigerian
5. Applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.
6. Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship

For Shareholders.

FOR SHAREHOLDERS: Secondary School Applicants.

1. Scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE), and have a minimum of five (5) distinctions i.e. A, which is equivalent to the excellent grading system in the relevant subjects (with at least credit in Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting
2. Applicant must have the JSCE results available during the application period
3. Applicant should not be more than 18 years old at the time of application
4. Applicant must be a Nigerian
5. Applicant must be a child of an individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period
6. The shareholder must have held his/her shareholding for a period of not less than 5 years during the application period
7. Applicants nominated by a corporate shareholder will not be eligible. A corporate shareholder is a company that has shareholding(s) in MRS Oil Nigeria Plc
8. Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship

FOR SHAREHOLDERS: Undergraduate Applicants.

All scholarship applications must be submitted electronically (including scanned copies of the following credentials to monscholarship@mrsholdings.com

Junior Secondary JSCE result for Secondary School category and SSCE result for Tertiary School category in one sitting;

• Admission letter
• Birth certificate/affidavit (Birth affidavit date must not be earlier than 60 days before September 7, 2022.
• School fees document signed by the school
• Parent means of Identification

Application Deadline.

Applications open on September 7, 2022, and close on December 31, 2022. Shortlisted applicants would be contacted for further assessment.
